How many times have you had to follow-up a text with another text saying, "Damn autotext ."
I know Steve Jobs had the right intentions when including an extremely sensitive Autotext into his iPhone design, but I'm pretty sure we don't want our husband's parrots watching the kids.
Because it happens to all of us so often, an entire website has been dedicated to auto correct mishaps, appropriately called DamnYouAutoCorrect.com .

The distraught family now wants to make sure this doesn’t happen again. As their beloved daughter died from just sending a text message, they are urging drivers not to touch their phones while in control of a vehicle Tracy Wale was only 22 when she veered across the road, straight into oncoming traffic. Her vehicle collided with two other cars, but fortunately, the other people involved were not too seriously hurt. Tracy was going to a flat in Northampton, as she was planning to move in with her boyfriend. Life seemed to be going well for her, as she was just about to start a new job as well, in a new position with Thames Valley Police. Tracy’s family spoke a heartfelt plea, asking other motorists to avoid using mobile phones when driving. “Using a mobile phone when driving can kill yourself and others. We urge drivers to switch off phones before driving”. Continuing to point out that “Nothing can be so important that you must risk your life, just wait or stop the car.”
